Price
The following prices include airfare, hotel costs in Japan, all transportation in Japan, and participation/administrative/handling costs. Prices below DO NOT include applicable taxes and fuel surcharge. (Taxes are $76 as of January 2009.) If paying by credit card, please be aware that a 4% charge for processing will be added.

Local Tour Choice in Matsushima on July 29th
In the afternoon of July 29th in Matsushima, the volunteer committee will offer you some optional local tours in Matsushima. They will start around 1:00 pm and will take approximately 2 hours.
You can designate 1st and 2nd choices on the application form.

A  Course :   History Tour  (Zuiganji and Godaido temples, and others) Cost :  $ 10 B  Course :  Date Masamune Historical Museum  and Matsushima Walk Cost :  $ 10
C  Course :  Marinepia Matsushima Aquarium Cost :  $ 10 D  Course :  Matsushima Cruising Cost :  $ 20

Early Morning Fish Market Tour (before breakfast)
In the early morning of July 30th, you can join the Shiogama Fish Market Tour in Matsushima (before breakfast). You will have the opportunity to see lively fish auctions and walk through the market with over 200 stalls.
Please designate your preference on the application form.

Time : 4:30am - 7:00am
Cost : $ 10
Capacity : 40 people

Post Summit Optional Programs
After the summit is over, you can extend your stay in Japan to discover more about the culture of Japan and make more friends in other regions. CIE, together with travel agencies, will offer the following 6 optional programs.

Please Note-Important Additional Information
1) Discount
  • Children 11 years and under : $300 discount @
    (Infants under 2 are $300 for all costs.)
  • Students between 12 and 25 years old : $250 discount
    (Hotel rooms in Matsushima and Sendai are shared with 3 or 4 people.)
2) Hotel Rooms
    All rooms are double occupancy. If traveling alone, unless otherwise requested, another participant may share a room with you. Please indicate if single occupancy is required, at a cost of $100 per night.
3) Any changes to your schedule made after the deadline will incur a substantial penalty.

4) Deposit
    Please send application form along with a check for the deposit of $300 made out to Kintetsu International Travel Consultants Company. You can also register online with your credit card. The deposit will count toward the total cost.

5) Invoice
    TCC will send you an invoice for the remaining balance upon receipt of your application and deposit.
